My RetroPi

So I got myself a RaspberryPi and have setup a retro gaming console. I got a few USB controllers off Amazon and was playing Super Metroid yesterday. I must say its pretty awesome to be able to play a game I never played as a kid but also be able to do it on an SNES controller! The whole setup I have cost me around $100 but I am ready for the next step, building an Arcade box. I will update this post with my progress.

For now, here is the guide I followed to setup my RetroPie. I can help out too if you have any questions.

Products in the guide below:
CanaKit Raspberry Pi 3 Kit with Premium Clear Case and 2.5A Power Supply (UL Listed)
2 Pack NES Classic Controller
2 Pack SNES Super Controller
2 Pack N64 Retro Controller)

There is also a multi pack that has controllers for all the consoles, but it only has one of each so you would need 2 sets:5 USB Classic Controllers – NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, N64, Playstation

Here is the guide on how it is done (Don’t worry it’s super simple:)
